For over five years, Anthony Nusca has worked closely with The Kickback, a non-profit founded by Jamal Burger that uses sneakers as a tool to create access to sports, art, and education for underserved youth. Originally a community shoe drive, The Kickback has evolved into a platform for storytelling, empowerment, and cultural connection, aiming to reframe youth narratives and open new pathways through events, workshops, and national campaigns.

Anthony’s photography supports this mission by capturing authentic, emotionally grounded moments that reflect the energy and impact of the organization’s work. From grassroots gatherings to national Nike campaigns, his images document youth-driven change and celebrate the individuals and communities shaping a new generation of leadership and creativity.
