After a highly successful collaboration on BoyWithUke’s debut album, which the videos have amassed over 200 million views to date, Kevin Lien and BoyWithUke reunited for his second studio album. This time, their partnership extended to a trilogy of music videos and an intricate web series, all aimed at bringing Uke’s vivid cinematic universe to life in 'Lucid Dreams'.

Beginning in March 2023, they meticulously planned and executed six shoot days split between Toronto and LA. The music videos delved into Uke’s struggles with identity, touching on his childhood, the whimsical personas from his career, and his dynamic with the record label. Each video explored different facets of these themes; 'Trauma' took a direct approach, while 'Migraine' and 'Problematic' were conveyed through metaphorical storytelling.

The 'LORE' web series was a specially commissioned project that delved into Uke’s younger self, inspired by an earlier music video, 'Understand', which has garnered over 100 million views. Kevin crafted a compact three-episode miniseries in a linear narrative format, exploring childhood traumas through elements like a talking mask, bullying, and animated sequences. The response was overwhelming, with audiences delving into theories about the series’ future and clamouring for more content.
