THIS IS WHERE I’M AT marks Alexander’s debut EP—and when he approached Kevin with the idea of filming everything in São Miguel, Portugal, his family’s hometown, the answer was an instant yes. Teaming up with longtime collaborator Daniel Shpuntov, the three of them set off to the island for eight focused days of immersive shooting.

Armed with only two songs, a handful of references, and a few loosely held themes, the project unfolded as a raw, collaborative exploration—both inward and outward. The process became as much about discovery as it was about execution.

The resulting videos reveal a striking emotional duality: the restless search for identity and validation in PASSING THE TEST, contrasted with the quiet introspection and cultural reconnection in TIED UP. Physically demanding and emotionally resonant, the experience pushed each of them artistically.
