Project Overview
After three years of creative collaboration, Kevin Lien and BoyWithUke return for one final chapter together—marking the close of an era as Uke approaches his last studio album under the name BoyWithUke. Following his long-awaited face reveal and the announcement of his final project, both Kevin and Uke set out to reimagine the visual language of his music, pushing further than ever before.
Commissioned to direct four music videos over four months—all shot in Toronto—Kevin crafted a surreal, nighttime anthology that threads through themes of identity, fame, memory, and release. Each vignette explores a different emotional layer of Uke’s journey, with a heightened focus on cinematic storytelling. From fight choreography to visual effects, practical effects to studio builds, every video introduced a new creative challenge—reflecting a more mature, ambitious tone and pushing Uke to new artistic heights.
This series stands as a culmination of their years-long partnership—a body of work that captures the evolution of an artist and the closing arc of a meaningful collaboration. Both Kevin and Uke consider this final series a true high point, and a project they’re deeply proud of.
